Obituary for Floyd McCready

Passed away peacefully at the Maple View Lodge, Athens on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Eunice (Kelsey) McCready. Floyd is survived by his son-in-law Clinton McCann; and by his grandchildren Sarah Hicks (Paul) and Timothy McCann (Nicole). He will be fondly remembered by his great grandchildren Elizabeth, Aidan, Lillian and Kaelyn; and by siblings Grace Bullock (Herbert), Bruce McCready (Maxine) and Beatrice Webster; by his sister-in-law Esther Kelsey and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughters Barbara McCann (February 22, 2022), Sharon and Karolle; and by his siblings Frances Bryan, Rupert, Alex and Thomas McCready.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Highway Pentecostal Church, 800 Stewart Blvd., Brockville on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 1-3 pm followed by the funeral service commencing at 3 pm. For those unable to attend, the recording of the service is available below.
Interment will take place at Sand Bay Cemetery in the spring.
