Obituary for Erin Wade

We are very sad to announce the passing of Erin Wade. She died at the age of 30 in her Mother’s arms, and surrounded by her family, on May 6th, 2023. Diagnosed at the age of 17, she bravely fought a long battle with Juvenile Huntington's Disease.
She is survived by her mother, Cindy Moore and Stepfather, Rick Moore, Sisters, Shannon Parkinson (Matt), Rachel Wade (Dan), Niece Madison Parkinson, Nephew Brayden Parkinson., Many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Grandmother Denise Bigalow, Alena Forbes. Predeceased by her Father, David Wade and Grandfather Ken Bigalow, Grandmother Dorothy Wade, Aunt Holly Wade, Uncle Chuck Moore and Aunt Donna Fox.
A Mass will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at St Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church Street, Brockville at 2:00 pm. We will also have a celebration of Life on May 20th, 2023, at the home of Rick and Cindy Moore.

Erin became an icon in her fight against Juvenile Huntington’s Disease. She was a beautiful soul who will always be remembered for her beauty, strength and courage. Erin’s Smile was said to have had a profound impact on everyone that met her, she made the world fall in love with her simply by smiling.
