R.I.P. Uncle Rick, You were a huge part of our lives and our children's lives. We remember all the fun times at our cottage, and your support in bad times. Always so interested in all our endeavours and always kind, gentle and upstanding man. We will cherish the memories you have left us. Aunt Ruth & Donna, you made such a great family and loved him enough to let him go. I remember you bringing Shauna, Kyle & Megan their very first pair of water skis to the cottage and that's how they learned, they always loved your visits whether it was at the lake or in Maitland. Love always Sandy & Betty

Ruth and Donna I would like to express my sincere condolences on the passing of Rick. I only had the pleasure of spending time with him a few times. That said he was always very welcoming and a pleasure to be with. He was never with out a sparkle in his eye and love in his heart for everyone. He was a truly happy husband and very proud Dad. My thoughts are with you both at this very difficult time.

I’m sorry to hear of Uncle Rick’s passing. My thoughts are with Aunt Ruth and Donna. While I haven’t seen Uncle Rick for a while I have many pleasant memories. He was always so patient and helpful when we were kids. I remember driving home from Cornell University in a blizzard and stopping at my Uncle Alex’s house in Brockville when I couldn’t go further. Uncle Rick and Aunt Ruth came over and they turned a lousy day for me into a great day. May the many positive memories of a very nice man provide some comfort to you Aunt Ruth and Donna during this difficult time.

Dearest Aunt Ruth and Donna

Don’t we wish we could live forever? We are sad that Uncle Ric has passed but find comfort that we will all see him again. Christmas dinners in paradise.
We are sorry that you are hurting and hope that all your happy memories are helping.
I remember Uncle Ric and my dad as the quiet ones at our gatherings, always laughing along.
I know my Dad considered him a good friend. He had good taste. We always enjoyed our times with Uncle Ric. He was the epitome of a ‘great guy’.

With love,
Sharon and Gary
