Blad, Edolar ( Ed )
Blad, Edolar (Ed) entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on February 12 2022 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Ginny (nee Watts) and dear father of Kelly (Jennifer) and Kristina (Davis). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brittany Nelson (Mike) and Dylan Blad, by his three great grandchildren Jack, Maddie and Colt, by many nieces and nephews, by his brothers Ross (Sandy) and Brian (Linda), by his cousin Lorey (Liz) Blad and by his sister-in-law Marion Watts. Predeceased by five sisters, his brother-in-law Alan Watts and by his parents Edolar and Eva.
A carpenter by trade, Ed was a long-time employee of DC Snelling Ltd. After his retirement, his favourite times were spent with his family, playing a round of golf, and working in the garage on projects for his kids.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 Cty Rd. 15 Maitland on Friday, February 25th from 11am until 1 pm when services will be held at the Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully appreciated.
