Duncan Cameron Fraser Q.C.
August 31,1929- August 21, 2022
Born in Montreal, Duncan attended lower Canada College, followed by McGill University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Duncan's father was appointed Lieutenant Gouvenor of Nova Scotia. after which Duncan moved with his family and attended Dalhousie University, where he earned a law degree there and met his future wife Nancy Wickwire. After their marriage in 1956 Duncan and Nancy moved to Brockville. An "Avid Indoorsman" Duncan enjoyed CBC radio, reading and keeping up to date on Canadian politics, having been a member of the Liberal party for many years.
A quintessential gentlemen, Duncan was a well respected lawyer within the community.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Hugh Fraser, his daughter Elspeth Uloth (Nick) and by his four grandchildren Katherine, Cameron, Alexander and Danielle. as well as several nieces and nephews. .
Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville, Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery Guysborough, Nova Scotia at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
