Stratton, Hugh Douglas
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Hugh Stratton on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in his 99 year. Predeceased by his guardian angel, his loving wife Phyllis (MacKay). Loving father of Carolyn, Patricia (Richard) and son Douglas (Carol). He was the proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and great grandfather to 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Dianne.
Hugh was a proud Veteran of World War 2. He was a teacher and principal for the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal (PSBGM) School Boards for 34 years. He will be fondly remembered by many students, teaching colleges and friends.
In keeping with Hugh’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville.
