Passed away peacefully at the Maple View Lodge on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Dorothy May (Smith) Crooke, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife and best friend of 63 years to the late Donald Crooke. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters Donna Kerr (Brent) and Lisa Slater (late Randy). Cherished Nan to Dustin Kerr (Ashley), Derek Kerr (Erin) and Tyler Kerr (Kaylee).Cherished Grandma to Megan Knowles (Tim) and Lindsay Ovington (Joe). Great Nan to Braden, Emily, Addison and Sophia Kerr, Avery and Taylor Kerr. Great Grandma to Lily and Addison Knowles, Leah and Max Ovington. Sister of Sheila Pankow (Ronnie). Also survived by her in-laws Lillian Mallory (late Gerald), Gerald Crooke (Marg), Shirley Drummond (late Jack), Marion Watts (late Alan) and Linda Salmon (Donnie). Predeceased by her brother Raymond Smith (Greta) and her brother-in-law Leland Crooke.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Wednesday May 27, 2020 from 1 - 2 pm.. A ceremony celebrating Dorothy's life will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, Maitland followed by interment at Roselawn.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis or the Maple View Lodge Auxiliary will be gratefully acknowledged.
