Obituary for Doreen Ethel Hicks (Hodgson)
Entered into rest peacefully at the Rosebridge Manor, Jasper on the morning of February 8, 2021. Doreen Ethel (Hodgson) Hicks, at the age of 96 years. Wife of the late Richard G. Hicks, and dear mother of Geri Grant (Don deceased), Donna MacKay (deceased) Gary survives and Richard (Betty) Hicks. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Eric Grant (Mary Ann ), Kristine Warren, Jennifer Hicks (Mike DeMoss), Richard N. Hicks (Pam), Andrew MacKay (Tracy), Karen MacKay as well as her great grandchildren Shawn and Drew Warren, Nick, Haley and Lucas Grant, Tyler DeLong, Paige and Heather MacKay, Haven Sytsma, Cameron and Evan Hicks, Charlotte and Sawyer Stankusz and Connor Hicks. Also survived by her sister-in-law Vivien Hicks (Harold deceased) Hicks. Doreen was predeceased by her parents William and Ethel Hodgson.
A graveside service will be held at Mallorytown Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.
