Entered into rest peacefully at Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Doreen Foley (nee Riddell) of Brockville at the age 96 years. Dear wife of the late Eric Foley. Loving mother of Sharon Meehan (Shawn) and step mother to Carol Lynch (the late Peter) and Bruce Foley (Joan). Dear grandmother of Laura, Matthew and Alec Meehan, Brian Foley (Ashley) and Karen Audette (Doug). Dear aunt to Diane DeWit and Dale Riddell (Debra) and sister of the late Duane Riddell (Vivian) and the late Rae Riddell.
The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff at Sherwood Park Manor who have provided Doreen with their compassionate care for 12 years.
Family and friends will be received at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street, Brockville on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 11 am to 12 noon followed by the funeral service to be held in the chapel at 12 noon. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Internment will be held at Union Cemetery, Lansdowne. In memory of Doreen, donations to Sherwood Park Manor will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
