Obituary for Donna Rae Poole (Loomis)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Rae Poole at Brockville General Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends on Monday, April 24th 2023 in her 70th year.
Donna was one of the strongest, most courageous, bravest, kindest, loving women to walk this earth. Her family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.
In 1976, she married Warren Poole and together they went on to have a beautiful daughter Amanda. Donna was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Donna was predeceased by her mother Estella and Father Byrne Loomis and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband Warren, daughter Amanda (Shane), extended family John, Ryan, Annie, Summer, Carole, Katie, Teresa, Christine, and family pet Truffles.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, K6V 1J9 on Sunday, April 30th 2023 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A service in celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Irvine Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 1st 2023 at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville. In memory of Donna donations to Brockville General Hospital - Palliative Care or OSPCA Leeds & Grenville will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
