Donna was an active member of the library's Pints & Pages book group, even during difficult times with her cancer, and never far from our thoughts on those evenings when she couldn't attend. At P & P we sat 'round table, lifted a glass, and were encouraged to bring one or two books to discuss and recommend. Donna always brought a pile! She would go into great detail of those books she loved and would hold up a book she didn't like and give it a swift "hated it". Donna always left us laughing. A true gem and now a diamond in the sky.
Condolences to all her family and friends. We love you Donna and will miss your sense of humour and positive outlook on life.

Remembering walking with Donna down Pine Street during a winter's storm. Sharing hot chocolate with Donna and her mom around the kitchen table. I thought what a privilege it was to be in the company of these beautiful, positive personalities. Like her mom, Donna always carried that vitality and there was always an insurmountable strength of character and that wonderful smile. Her memory is and will remain, a warm spot in my heart.
