Obituary for Dennis Rose

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis B. Rose at the young age of 70.
Dearly loved by his wife Cindy (Allard), his daughter Isabelle (Jeff Marchand), son Sebastien, step
daughters Karla(Chris Stochuck) and Amanda (Chris Oulton). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Brodie, Gavin, Kaydan, Kurtis and Walker. Dennis will also be missed by his siblings Norman (Susy Lillo), Carole (James Brown), predeceased by his brother Richard, Kathleen (Marcel Lemire), Nelson (Ginnette Racicot), Gail (Paul Kefalas) and loving baby sister Louise.

Dennis can be remembered for his outstanding community service over the years including “Citizen of
the Year” in 1995, Ontario SPCA Life Member in 1997 after raising funds to build the now standing
SPCA building on Centennial Rd. in Brockville. He was also the founding owner of the Trophy shop at
the Memorial Centre and was a referee for many years and many hockey games. He will also be remembered by many as the bank manager of the Laurentian Bank on King Street. In recent years Dennis & Cindy lived in New Brunswick where he continued his financial career as the CFO at DBM Inc. in Charlo, N.B.
Retired in 2017 Dennis & Cindy moved back to Ontario and enjoyed his last days on Graham Lake in
Mallorytown, ON.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the OSPCA Leeds & Grenville Branch will be gratefully acknowledged.
