Obituary for Deborah (Debbie) Blair

~~~~~~~~~~
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah (Debbie) Lynn Blair on March 23rd, 2022.
Born April 25th, 1958, in Welland, Ontario, Debbie was dedicated to her family, friends, colleagues, clients, and pets. She was never shy to lend a helping hand to those in need; and would often do without to make sure others were taken care of. Debbie touched so many lives. She was well known in the community; in Brockville, Gananoque and the surrounding areas. She spent 30+ years of her life supporting those in need with Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health; spending the last number of years helping to launch, and participate in, community support programs with both the Brockville and Gananoque Police Services. Debbie was loved, and will be missed, by so many people.
Debbie is survived by her beloved children Meagan Blair (partner Tanya Jordan) and Shawn Blair, the children’s father Randy Blair (spouse Arnold Ramos), Debbie’s mother Marion Stewart, and father Donald Craig. Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her stepsiblings Rod Jackson, Diane Sargent, Linda Strain, David Jackson, and their families. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her stepfather Herbert Stewart, stepmother Marg Craig, dear uncle Robert Craig, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel (4 James Street East, Brockville) on Friday, April 1st, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm; followed, in the chapel, by a service in celebration of Debbie’s life. (Service recording will be available soon for those unable to attend)
To carry on her legacy of love and caring consider making a donation to any of the following organizations:
• Brockville General Hospital – Palliative Care
