Obituary for David (Parsky) Parr
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of David Wallace (Parsky) Parr at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the age of 67. Loving husband and best friend to his wife of 23 years Pam (Healy) adoring father to his children; son Ben and daughter Kaylee. He will be missed by his sibling’s Ron Parr (late Marg), Susan Bow (late Doug), Nancy McMahon (Jamie), Mary Bernard (Larry) and father-in-law Garry Grier. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Kathleen (Toohey) Parr and his mother-in-law Shirley Grier.
His generosity and willingness to help others was his biggest characteristic. David’s life was built on a foundation of love provided by his family. He carried on this foundation into his passion for his career in interlocking paving stones, one project such as Court House Square that he was well known for.
This foundation was also carried into his family life with Pam, Kaylee and Ben who were his pride and joy. He also had many close friends with which the bond could never be broken. David loved curling, reading and participating in the Tweed Games every year. Always missed and forever in our hearts.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for David on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Brockville Country Club downstairs in “The Stanley Room” from 2-5 pm. Memorial donations to the Lung Association will be appreciated by the family.
