Obituary for Dave McGill

It is with profound sadness we share the sudden passing of Dave McGill on August 22, 2023. David was
born in Scarborough Ontario on July 28, 1983. He will be greatly missed by his parents Linda and Brent
McGill, Kevin McGill (Brother) and Kevin’s partner Mi Ran Won, Cindy Robson (sister) and Cheryl Robson
(sister) along with his long-time girlfriend Lauren North. Along with his many nieces and nephews,
cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
David will also be missed by those close friends from Revelstoke BC where he has been living for the last
few years. Dave will also be greatly missed by those lifelong friends from where he was raised in
Brockville, Ontario where he enjoyed playing hockey and baseball. He attended BCI during his teenage
years, Dave also spent time Learning his vast array of handy man skills. Dave could be counted on by
anyone to give a helping hand along with the shirt off his back. He was a kind, generous loving man with
such a beautiful smile. He adored his family and made sure they knew it.
Family and friends are invited to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville on Thursday, September 7 , 2023 for a visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 pm followed by a celebration of Life at 2:00 pm in the chapel. Livestream link for the service:
