Obituary for Cornelia Brugma (VanHiel)
Entered into rest at her residence on Friday, August 2, 2019. Cornelia (VanHiel) Brugma, at the age of 81 years. Wife of the late William Brugma and Jan Pyl. Dear mother of Carole Dunster, Chris Brugma and Henry (Susan) Brugma. Sadly missed by her ten grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sister of William VanHiel (Audrey) and Otto VanHiel (Lynda). Sister-in-law of Melvin Myers, Marie Birtch, Jerry Brugma (Linda), Henry Brugma, and Elso Brugma (Heidi). Corry was predeceased by her parents Christiaan and Margaretha Van Hiel, as well as her sister Alida Myers and great grandson Abel.
A private celebration of Corry's life will be held a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
