Obituary for Clark Root

Entered into rest, peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. William Clark Root, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Lillian (Pankhurst) Root and cherished father of Brian Root (Laura) of Brockville, Gail Gallinger (Randy) of British Columbia, Jo-Anne Yost of Alberta, David Root (Norma) and Stephen Root all of Brockville. He will be sadly missed by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Karen; his son Daniel; his grandson Steven Root; his sisters Doris Lamothe (Lou) and Mary Sim (Bill) and by his parents William and Cora Root.
The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Lawrence Lodge and the Brockville General Hospital for the kindness, care and support.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, a celebration of Clark's life will take place at a later date with interment at Mallorytown Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Centennial Road Church or the Royal Canadian Legion, Brockville Branch will be gratefully acknowledged.
