Obituary for Clara VanDyk Summers

It is with great sadness that on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Clara VanDyk Summers (nee Pyke) entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, in her 77th year. Clara is survived by her daughters Carolyn Vanderwal, Trisha VanDyk (Don Ring), Tammy VanDyk and Debbie VanDyk; by her grandchildren Michael Vanderwal, Christina VanDyk and Robert Spicer as well as by her great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Mareland Casselman and Lorraine Tyssen and by several nieces and nephews. Clara was predeceased by her parents Florence and Harvey Pyke and her brother Lloyd Pyke.
Due to the current Covid limitations, Clara's immediate family will be having a private graveside service at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
Many thanks to the staff at St. Lawrence Lodge and the Brockville General Hospital who had loved and cared for our mother.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
