It is with great sadness we share the passing of Catherine (Locke) Brown at Brockville General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Clare Brown. Loving mother of Laurie Kolff (John) of Charlotte, NC, and Terry Grimes (Jim) of Brockville. Forever cherished by grandchildren Lyndsey Duvall, Andrew Kolff, Jaime (Dan) Hoy, Aaron (Nicole) Grimes, Ryan (Hope) Grimes. Great Grandma Gigi to Benjamin Hoy. Lovingly remembered by sister in law Connie Brown and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mary Louise and Howard Joseph Locke.
Cay lived life to the fullest, meeting every challenge with courage and determination. She devoted her life to family, friends and the community. She loved connecting with friends, condo cocktails, camping, cards and karaoke. Cay will be remembered for her smile, her sense of humour, and love of laughter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of Catherine’s life will be held at a later date.
