Passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years at Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. Beloved wife of John Monk. Loving mother of Kathleen Monk (Russell Kelly), Jennifer Monk (Terry Newcomen) and Linda McLinden (Steve). Will be missed by her grandchildren, Jonathan Fitzsimons (Laura Fusco), Tyler Fitzsimons, Jason and Kevin Newcomen and Emerald McLinden, as well as by her great-grandson, Jackson Fitzsimons. Dear sister of Gus Plassaras (Gregoria) and Georgina (and her late husband Mike) Mercuriadis. Predeceased by her parents, Christina and Andreas Plassaras, and several siblings.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hellenic Greek Orthodox Community Church will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
