Obituary for Bernice Pankhurst

Passed away peacefully at the Sherwood Park Manor on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Reginald Edgar Pankhurst and dear sister of Betty Johnston, Ethel Leizert, Carol Darling and Marilyn Leizert. Also survived by several nieces and nephews including Jeff Mallette (Darlene). Predeceased by her brothers Wally, Glen, Roger and Wayne Hodge and by her sisters Winona Ross, Geraldine Livingston, Joyce Brown and Evelyn Mallette.
Bernice was a longtime resident of Brockville and had worked for many years as a waitress at The New York Restaurant. She resided at the Mary Anne apartments prior to moving into the Sherwood Park Manor where she enjoyed her many new friends and all the the activities.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
