Passed away peacefully at her residence on December 27th 2019. Barbara (Tordoff) Mitchell, at the age of 87 years. Wife of the late Tom Mitchell and beloved mother of her two children Debbie Nadeau (Roland) and Gary Mitchell (Rebecca), a daughter-in-law Ruth Mitchell (son Andrew predeceased); as well as a son Steven. Cherished grandmother of Selina and Quinten Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, Tayla Davis (Blair), Erin Toner (Kevin), Joel Nadeau (Laura) and Craig Nadeau (Indy). Great grandmother to Elodie, Natalie, Trent, Lillee, Alivia, Kathleen, Hendrix and Harrison. Predeceased by her parents Alice and Arthur Tordoff and by her siblings Doreen Ward, Vera French and Norman Tordoff. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 from 11 am until 1 pm when a celebration of Barbara's life will be held in the chapel followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
