I was so deeply sad to hear about Barb’s passing. We had been friends for many years, and I admired her so much. When I worked at Sherwood Park Manor, all the work she did as a volunteer made such a huge difference to the residents and to us. After I retired, I was delighted to continue my friendship with Barb as we did so many craft shows together. We always relieved her for breaks and helped her take her booth down and load her car afterward. She was always so lovely and so enjoyable to chat with. Such a pretty lady too. I would most certainly attend the service but my father’s funeral is in Smiths Falls on the same day. My heart goes out to you though. We are together in our grief. Sincerely, Joan Bennett
