Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the age of 84. Much loved father of Douglas (Susan) Ross, Jane (Bob) Larocque, Diane (Chuck) Easton and Heather (David) Moran. Proud and fun-loving grandpa, great grandpa and special uncle to many. Dear brother of Peter (Pat), Sis (Bud) and Dave. Predeceased by his children's mother Donna and by his brothers Gerry and Don.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre at Roselawn, 2451 Maitland Road, Maitland on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 from 11 am-1 pm. A service in celebration of Bob's life will be held in the Chapel Saturday at 1 pm followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Mary Jane Hawkins Foundation at St. Lawrence Lodge or the Community and Primary Health Care service would be appreciated by the family.
