Peacefully, Martha entered into rest at her home on Friday, October 5, 2018, with her daughters by her side.

Mom came to Brockville as a graduate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She married in 1950, and was pre-deceased by her husband Stewart, in 1972. She is survived by Anne (David Beatty), Bryce (Helen Ross), Paul, and Alison (Dan Wilson), 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Until her last moments Mom continued to convey interesting stories of her wonderful life. She was a well educated, confident, independent woman, and a world traveller.

At Mom’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care unit would be gratefully accepted. They were wonderful with Mom. We thank them and the kind, caring staff at Wedgewood who have gone above and beyond for Mom and her family over the past six years.
